I've been working on and off on this entry for a while now. Everytime I felt like I had finished, I also felt like there was someone else I could add to this and then I'm back to scanning my iTunes library, looking for that someone else. But its getting to a point where I'm sick of going back and forth with this thing, if I find someone else I can always add them (or just give them a separate entry). Also, feel free to post anything you listen to to lighten up your mood in comments :)
Anyways, here's the list:

Lenka
Australian singer/songwriter currently working on her upcoming album.

Little Boots
British electropop singer/songwriter. I discovered her on iTunes when her Illuminations EP had come out here and have loved her stuff ever since :) She's currently working on her second studio album, which is supposed to have some influence from Edgar Allan Poe's writing. I can't wait to hear it!!
Album(s): Hands (2009)
EP(s): Arecibo (2008, US only), Little Boots (2009), Illuminations (2009, US & Canada only)
Ash Koley
A Canadian band I started listening to after downloading their song from iTunes' "Free Single of the Week." You may recognize their song Don't Let Your Feet Touch the Ground. Their debut studio album was recently released.
Album(s): Inventions (2010)
EP(s): White, Black, Red, Blue (all released through 2009 and early 2010)
A Fine Frenzy
I figure most of you will recognize her, but I love her stuff so she's going on the list :)

EP(s): Demo - EP (2006), Come On, Come Out (2008), Oh, Blue Christmas (2009)
Kerli
An artist from Estonia (a country near Russia). You'll probably recognize her song Tea Party, which was listed on the Almost Alice soundtrack (she was also featured in Tokio Hotel's song on the album.) Her debut album is a little dark, but not in a depressing way. For her second studio album which she is currently working on, she's developing a new music style she calls "Bubble Goth."
Album(s): Love is Dead (2008)
EP(s): Kerli (2007)
